We are seeking a Senior Identity Management Engineer that will have extensive experience in web-based identity management technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Development, documentation, and maintenance of federated identity system.
• Work with the Identity Management team to develop and implement identity management services.
• Providing technical consultation and expertise to Product Managers and other Synacor staff members.
• Participating in technical planning and architectural exercises
• Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to bring to the table:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or the equivalent work experience.
• Three to five years experience in developing/maintaining Identity Management technologies
• Working knowledge of OpenId, Oauth, Oasis WS Specifications, SAML
• Knowledge of internet security standards and concepts
• Specific knowledge of SimpleSAMLPHP or Shibboleth a plus
• Familiarity with PHP and or Perl a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, and ability to collaborate
